People Are Religiously Proud For The Following Reasons
- They claim their respective churches to be the best, whereas their religions are far from the truth.
- They claim the Bible to be all that is necessary, whereas the Bible is incomplete. Even, it is the main, juicy, powerful and important books (Sacred Texts) that were removed (hidden from the public).
- They claim the Bible to be perfect, as inerrant, having no error or mistake. But the Bible itself says that it contains statement that are false, errant or mistake. Jeremiah 8 : 8 says its clearly,
That is the reason why you should look up to the Holy Spirit for guidance and confirmations. That is also why Jesus did not hand us over to the writings. Instead, he handed us over to the Holy Spirit. Several times, he made known that the Holy Spirit of Truth shall come to be with us.
- They prefer to be remain stagnant and complacement, by saying that their respective religions are the greatest. But the best and greatest is Truth. And only very few have sought for and found it, for the time being.
- A wise man uses the little light he has to gain more hight, but majority refuse to learn more. They fail to consider new and better ways, to investigate and confirm their belief and practices.
- What many call faith is nothing but stubbornness. The persistent refusal to obey the directives of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus summarized it all in the book of Revelation, saying
15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say,'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked — 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
